Sailor Coffee is a female-owned coffee shop in Guayaquil, Ecuador, a coastal city and the second biggest in the country. It was founded by Andrea Salgado, a young entrepreneur who has spent the last four years building her dream business from the ground up.

She came to us on year two of her business, with the logo already stablished and looking to build her brand identity around it. She wanted something that reflected the relaxed, beachy atmosphere in her shop; something that felt feminine without it being too cheesy or on-the-nose.
Knowing the brand would be used on a lot of different applications, we developed the identity around a versatile, beach-inspired palette, and created three different patterns that can be used whole or breaking apart their elements. Tropical leaves, coffee beans, and textures that remind us of sand and sea foam are now being used as wallpaper in her shop, stickers, cups, menu, and even as a manicure design!
